The start of the football season is upon us! We have the drama of training camp, Hard Knocks, the start of College Football (where we get to watch Scott Frost and the "11-point favorite" Nebraska Cornhuskers get whooped by Evan Hull, Ryan Hilinski, Pat Fitzgerald, and the rest of the Northwestern Wildcats... which your very own Birdman's Blog <3 predicted), Fantasy Football drafts, and finally the NFL kicks off! If you are like me, then you love to see your Minnesota Golden Gophers succeed in the NFL. Ever since PJ Fleck has come to town, we have had a lot more former Golden Gophers to watch on Sundays. Yes, the NFL is just fun to watch no matter what. But having other rooting interests make it even better! These may include: College and NFL Pick 'em Leagues, Fantasy Football leagues, Daily/Weekly Fantasy games, good ol' fashioned Las Vegas betting, and cheering for your favorite College team's former players that are now in the NFL! Let's take a dive into which NFL teams our former Minnesota Golden Gophers currently play for:
Minnesota Vikings (My 1st favorite NFL team):
Esezi Otomewo - Defensive End
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (My 2nd favorite NFL team):
Antoine Winfield Jr. - Free Safety
